Dr. Ruthie Norman, LICSW is independently licensed in the state of Massachusetts and holds both a clinical doctoral degree and masters degree in social work. She has a decade of experience providing therapeutic treatment services and has been in private practice since 2016. 

Clinical Speciality

Dr. Norman’s clinical area of focus and training is in Trauma work. She has spent the last  7+ years providing Trauma Focused Specialized Treatment.

Dr. Norman has extensive training in evidenced-based practices and treatment modalities. A selection of her certifications and trainings include: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention, TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Post-Disaster Distress. She is experienced with providing individual therapy, family therapy, and facilitating groups. Additionally, she is certified and trained to provide presentations and workshops for parents, professionals, and youth utilizing “Enough Abuse” curricula on child sexual abuse prevention.
