Appointment Policies

You are required to provide 48-hours notice for cancellation, or as soon as possible in cases of an emergency. No-shows and cancellations without 48-hours notice are subject to a $25.00 non- refundable fee.  

Please note that for private pay services, Dr. Ruthie Norman, LICSW, LLC requires a credit card in order to schedule and confirm service appointment in the scheduling system. A non refundable cancellation fee of $25 will be charged unless you contact my office to either cancel this appointment within 48 hours or re-schedule it. 

Services are scheduled by appointment time. If late, this means we will have less time together during our scheduled time. Frequent lateness and missed appointments will interfere with treatment and will need to be addressed. 

Please verify your co-pay prior to your visit.  Co-pays and payments will be collected at each session and may be made by check, money order, cash, or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express). 

Any returned checks, returned credit card charges or late payments may be subject to a $25 fee. Dr. Ruthie Norman, LICSW, LLC reserves the right to use collection sources to seek payments due in cases where remaining balances are unpaid.
